A poem to our pets

A Poem to dear Dingbat

Here’s to dear Dingbat
a happy old hound,
his tail always wagging
his nose to the ground.
With dreams in his whiskers
and scents in his nose
he shall have bunnies
wherever he goes.

Sweet Poppy

Now here’s to sweet Poppy
a mischievous mite
she is happy and hoppy
but watch for her bite.
She’ll trot on all day
with the break for a snack
but when she starts running
she may not come back

Not forgetting old Jonesy
a comfortable cat
he is pleasingly plump
oh alright then he is fat
he’ll bonk all the blankets
and clothes in the house
then pop into the garden
to murder a mouse.
